As usual, Santa Fe Spirits is in good company! Maxim's list of American Single Malts gave an honorable mention to Apple Brandy Finished Colkegan, calling it "as smooth as your favorite Speyside."

Crafted in Hotel Chaco continues to garner press as a hot new place to go in Albuquerque, as it should! A bar that focuses on New Mexico wine, beer and spirits is a great way for a local hotel to showcase some of what New Mexico has to offer. The latest article, in the Albuquerque Journal, quotes Daniel Gutierrez, head of Crafted’s wine and spirits program, saying that Wheeler's Gin is "the most distinct New Mexican spirit that we have." That's what we strive for in our Wheeler's Gin, so we're happy to hear that!
"Wine and spirits connoisseurs can sample local favorites at a new tasting room in the Sawmill District.Business First toured Crafted, a new 841-square-foot tasting room at Heritage Hotels & Resorts' Hotel Chaco in Old Town. The tasting room features wines and spirits from across the state, artwork by local artist Jodie Herrera and indoor and outdoor seating. The tasting room will be open daily from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m."

Uproxx.com just publised their 2019 list of The Best Whiskey in Every State, and I think you know where I'm headed with this, yup, Colkegan!
Last week Colin, along with over 150 other craft distillers and members of both DISCUS and ACSA, traveled to Washington D.C.to participate in a public policy conference about the future of the Federal Excise Tax cut, which is due to expire at the end of 2019.
