The Original Santa Fe Whiskey Apple Brandy Cask Finished Single Malt
This expression of The Original Santa Fe Whiskey Single Malt begins with select aged barrels of the whiskey, which are then transferred to freshly emptied Apple Brandy barrels for an additional year of aging. This process softens and sweetens the whiskey, creating a flavor profile that Whisky Advocate described as featuring “soft and juicy aromas of ginger juice, apple tart, strawberry shortcake, and light, sweet smoke,” with a palate rich in “apple, poached pear, marmalade, and light smoke.” The whiskey earned an impressive 89 points in their review.
