Ingredients

  • 2 oz Santa Fe Original Mesquite Whiskey American Single Malt
  • 1/4 oz agave nectar (or simple syrup)
  • 2 dashes bitters
  • Garnish: Orange peel
  • Glass: Double Old-Fashioned

Directions

  1. Add whiskey, agave nectar or simple syrup, and bitters to a mixing glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir until well chilled.
  3. Strain into a Double Old-Fashioned or rocks glass over a large ice cube.
  4. Drop in twisted orange peel as garnish.
