Colkegan Mesquite Smoked American Single Malt gets mention in two stories in the Fall 2023 issue of Whisky Advocate. From “Sea to Shining Sea” (page 62) talks about the rise of American single malts as a category (though not yet one officially recognized by the TTB), and “The Next Great American Whiskey” (page 66) continues that theme.
Not one to be left out, Colkegan Cask Strength garnered a 94-point review, which can be seen on the list of “American Single Malts to Try” (page 74) and the full tasting notes are in the Buying Guide (page 124).
